In praise of...

'St Anthony's encourages students to be curious, creative, and critical thinkers through a teaching approach that connects the values of Catholic faith to the thoughts, feelings and actions of our students.'

Congratulations to our students from your Leaders and your Teachers

This week I would like to acknowledge our wonderful educators, support staff and administration staff. They have been the champions of all learning arrangements this year and they continue to be the champions of learning, wellbeing, caring, listening, patience and persistence. This term they are adapting many things to enable all learners to access relevant and rigorous learning.

Many educators have changed pedagogical pathways as a result of online learning, adopting new ways of doing things, more efficient ways of delivering learning and they are doing it with a smile on their face.

Many support educators are working with groups and individuals with great intensity, supporting teachers to teach at point of need. They are busily moving across the school to support in multiple spaces and we can see how much work it takes every day to follow such a tight and busy schedule.

Our Admin staff are transitioning to ICON and this means one hundred times the workload. They have been outstanding managing the requirements to change our accounting system all while fielding their everyday office demands, phones, fees, sick bay and the list goes on.

St Anthony's is a complex place and if you spent a day here you would be astounded by what you see. I am every day. The staff in our school inspire me and they are to be celebrated as the unique and clever team that they are.

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU ALL
