If you’ve spent the past few months during lockdown to take some time and explore your local neighbourhood you have probably discovered some new favourite places and spaces within your community.

Whether it be a park, walking trail or even local eatery we want to see some of the places that make you feel connected, safe, proud and happy in the City of Melton.

Snap a pic, share it with us and go into the draw to win a $100 voucher for one of the amazing restaurants or cafes featured on the Melton City Much More App.

How It Works:

📷Simply email your entry to socialplanningprojects@melton.vic.gov.au

📷When sending your picture please include your name, the suburb that you live and a simple sentence explaining why you chose to share the place/ space you did.

📷 Entries close 5pm, 30 October. The winner will be announced on the Healthy City of Melton Facebook page on 2 November. Entries are open to City of Melton residents only.

📷A list of participating restaurants and cafes will be provided to the winner. The $100 voucher will only be provided from a business included on this list.

MAKE A PLEDGE FOR COMMUNITY SAFETY

Our attitudes and behaviours can influence our own safety, as well as the safety of others in our community and on our roads.

This is why the key message for Community Safety Month “we all have a role in making our communities safer” is one that we celebrate in the City of Melton.

With this in mind we’re inviting you to make a Community Safety pledge. Making a pledge is easy and will put you in the draw to win a $100 activity voucher. For full details and to make a pledge head over to the Healthy City of Melton Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/healthymelton

Pledges must be made by 5pm, 6 November for entry into the prize draw.
