Annual Reporting Meeting

At our last meeting we presented the 2021 Annual Report.

It was great to report again that although the Covid Lockdowns did affect the delivery of our classes, our students continued to achieve strong results, particularly in Numeracy.  Our staff have continued to develop their teaching skills with an additional focus on the delivery of the Mathematics curriculum in 2021.

We received additional funding in the second half of 2021 to support the new Disability Inclusion Program (DIP), which was used to provide access to staff to both a psychologist and speech therapist, resources to support student learning and staff to support students.  This funding continues into 2022.

The school replaced the Junior Playground equipment, with the support of the Parent Association fundraising.

Our students and staff were fortunate again to have amazing support from our parents as we experienced further lockdowns in 2021.

Student wellbeing was a focus as students returned to onsite learning and will remain a focus through 2022.

The Annual Report will be made available on the school’s Website.

Working Bee – Sunday 29th May

The Buildings, Grounds and Sustainability Committee is holding the first working bee for 2022 on Sunday 29th May.   Our main focus will be sprucing up the gardens around the Junior Hall, including the garden outside the Tuckshop.  We have some weeding and general garden tidying that also needs to be completed.

The Working Bee will go from 9am to 1pm – in two shifts:

9am to 11am

11am to 1pm

Thank you to the families who have already registered.  If you are yet to register, we would appreciate more assistance.

Please visit the Working Bee Tri Booking link to register:  https://www.trybooking.com/BZKJL

A sausage sizzle will be provided.

Curriculum Day

Each year schools have four Curriculum Days to assign for staff development.  We have had three Curriculum Days so far this year.

The School Council has approved Monday 5th September as our last Curriculum Day for 2022.
