All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

THE RUNNING CLUB

Every Tuesday morning for the rest of term, we are offering the opportunity to all Year 3 to 6 students to come to school a little bit earlier to go for a run.  The 1.8 km run will start from the school hall and run around the wetlands.  It will be fully supervised by volunteer teachers.   Parents are more than welcome to join us.

Students will need to be dropped off at the hall between 7.45 and 8.00 a.m.  Please ensure students, unless they have P.E. on the day, bring their school shoes to change into.  Asthmatics will need to carry a puffer.

Fit and healthy kids concentrate better at school and that’s a good thing for all of us.

KINGSTON DIVISION CROSS COUNTRY

All the best to the 16 runners representing the school at the Kingston Division Cross Country Carnival on Tuesday (31/5) at Karkarook Park.  They trained strongly on Tuesday morning and are well prepared.  A few of the students told us how they have already checked out the track or they went for a couple of good runs during the week.  It's so good hear of so many parents getting behind their kid's sports.  Thank you for your support.
