Primary Gymnastics Club

This week we had our first Primary Gymnastic Club lunchtime practices. It was wonderful to have so many enthusiastic students involved. I commend all our students who attended on their enthusiasm and their ability to listen to instructions, wait their turn and give everything a go. 

This club is run by myself, Mrs Kim McFadden and Jamison McFadden (Year 12 student). I am an Advanced Tumbling Coach and Jamison is a Beginner Coach and has been a gymnast since she was 4 years old and on the Victorian State Tumbling Team since 2016. 

Unfortunately we will not have Primary Gymnastics Club run for the next 2 weeks (Week 3 & 4) as Jamison will be competing at the Australian National Gymnastics Championships on the Gold Coast and I will be travelling up as a Victorian State Tumbling Coach and Judge.

I look forward to continuing with Gymnastics Club on Tuesday and Wednesday of Week 5 (24 and 25 May 2022).

NAPLAN

In May, students in Year 3, Year 5, Year 7 and Year 9 will participate in NAPLAN Online. NAPLAN is a point-in-time assessment that allows parents to see how their child is progressing in literacy and numeracy against the national standard and compared with their peers throughout Australia. At the classroom level, NAPLAN provides additional information to support teachers’ professional judgement about student progress.  Information has been sent home to families about NAPLAN.
