In the garden, students have been working hard to move soil and garden beds out to the back area. The autumn leaves have been collected and added to the compost to help our garden grow. We are looking forward to harvesting broccoli and beans in the next few weeks.

 

The theme for the last few weeks of cooking linked with Year 4 Healthy Eating Unit. We learnt about portion size and eating from different food groups. The recipes we cooked allowed students to explore healthy substitutes from different food groups. Students enjoyed making and eating wholemeal bread rolls served up with delicious risottos.
