Year7-9
Yr8
Hi all year 8 parents and carers,
We have now hit the half way point of the term with our wonderful cohort. The Year 8s have been very busy with all of their subjects and are getting stuck into their final assessments for the semester. We have been busy whilst at school not only in the classroom but also training for interschool netball, badminton and soccer and being part of a very competitive round of cohort games with dodge ball being held in the gym every Tuesday.
We have a very busy finish to the term with the following events taking place for the Year 8s
- 7th of June- Pupil Free day.
- 9th of June- Interschool Sports.
- 13th of June- Queens Birthday holiday.
- 20th of June- Into the Spider-verse excursion.
Yr9
Hi everyone.
It has been another big couple of weeks for year 9s as they approach the half way point of the year. Students have been working hard in all subjects on many assessments to name a few - in English, students have started working on their essays on Pieces of Sky, in Humanities students have been working on researching their chosen global issue and different approaches to this issue and in Math they have been preparing for their upcoming Linear relationships test. In addition to this, year 9s also will sit their English and Math exams in week 8 of this term which they have started revising for.
As the transition to Lakeview nears, Lakeview held a presentation to all year 9s about what to expect next year. They overviewed the day to day of Lakeview, the changes to expect, the transition process and answered many of the questions our year 9s had.
