COLOUR RUN

On Friday May 20, we held the Colour Run as the S.R.C.’s major fundraising event of the year. Students loved running around the oval being sprayed with a rainbow of colours. They ran through a number of inflatable arches which only added to the fun!

We were so lucky to have lots of family members come down and support the students as they ran, which created an amazing atmosphere!

A big thank you to everyone who came down on Friday to support the Colour Run.

FUNDRAISING

The S.R.C. has been working on raising money for new drink taps for the past 18 months! This choice was made by the S.R.C. as they believed we needed to upgrade our new drink taps to more sustainable and eco-friendly choices.

We have run Movie Days, sold Murrumbeanies and Cookbooks, run photography competitions, and many more things to raise money. The Colour Run ended up being our final fundraising initiative and we are so thankful for the MPS community’s support.

We raised a total of $37,790.05!!!

A massive thank you to everyone who donated money towards the new drink taps, we are so appreciative and cannot believe how much money we raised!

COMPETITION WINNERS

The S.R.C. ran a few friendly competitions during Colour Run fundraising. The child who raised the most amount of money got to be principal for an hour (see Class Dojo for some awesome pictures!).

A big congratulations to Leyla in Year 2 for raising almost $1000!

The class which raised the most amount of money gets to have a very special movie afternoon later this term.

Congratulations to Prep S!!!

They raised $2700!!

Maybe you will have to ask Mrs Plumb for some popcorn for your movie afternoon!

PRIZE ORDERING

Prize ordering is now open and will be closing shortly!

Please log onto the School Fun Run website if you have not already ordered your prize!

If you have any issues ordering your prize, or do not wish to order one, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.

PYJAMA DAY

Another special competition/incentive that was run during fundraising was the opportunity of a whole school pyjama day if we raised over $25,000 as a school!

We obviously raised much more than that, which means we will definitely be having our pyjama day!

Pyjama Day will be on Friday June 17. Students are invited to wear their pyjamas, dressing gown, etc. to school!

Please be mindful to choose appropriate footwear and clothing for the day, as it may be very cold!
