New Path for Louise Cleary csb

We are delighted to congratulate Louise on her appointment as Congregational Leader, which occurred last month. However, it is with some sadness that we share with you that unfortunately Louise Cleary will be unable to continue as the Chair of KEM Board, and has offered her resignation, effective at the AGM in June. While her new leadership role commenced immediately, Louise has graciously continued as Chair of KEM, allowing the Trustees some time to find a replacement.

Over the years Louise has held many leadership positions for the Brigidine Sisters; she has been called again and we celebrate this with her.  We wish her well in this new position and we know that her wisdom and insights will be invaluable to the order. For our part we will miss Louise’s dedication to her role and her careful accompaniment of the Principals and their teams. As a true lifelong learner, she has kept abreast of educational and leadership developments and brought her extensive wisdom to decision making. The issues of compliance, risk management, funding and business plans have often governed the day’s work which Louise managed systemically and thoroughly. Louise‘s passion infused her work for the schools and engendered appreciation and support from the Directors.

We will miss her cheerful, gentle presence, her compassionate care of all of us in KM and her passion for all matters of things. But she will not be too far away and will remain Chair of the Members Council for the immediate future.

Thank you Louise, for your enormous contribution and may you find your new role a grand new adventure.
