Year 8 Camp

On Wednesday 18 May our Year 8 cohort set off for Camp Rumbug in Foster.  After a short rest stop in Koo Wee Rup, our students settled in for three days of fun activities and interesting challenges. 

Resilience, persistence and teamwork were the themes of the camp. Our thrill-seeking students enjoyed the dizzying heights of the giant swing and the flying fox, while others found these activities to be a frightening challenge. Our ground-dwelling enthusiasts excelled at orienteering and initiatives which challenged problem-solving and team communication skills. 

It just wouldn't be a Chelt school camp without lots of washing to bring home with canoeing, raft building and of course, the mud run were very popular activities.
