Physically Active in Winter

Winter is nearly here! For many the winter sports season has already commenced and for some is the most exciting time for organised sports. For others however, who may not participate in organised sport, but may enjoy a more active time in warmer months, it can be a challenge to be active in the cooler, or cold weather.

 

There are so many benefits to staying active. Headspace suggest:

  • Improved sleep 
  • improved concentration
  • raise energy levels
  • improve confidence
  • boost your mood
  • release stress
  • lower anxiety.
