Year 8 Adventure

The Year 8 Adventure has been and gone with the majority of the cohort getting out into the great outdoors.

Students battled their way through thigh high spinifex, strolled on the Larapinta Trail, canoed on Ellery Big Hole, mountain biked behind the Chewings Range, cooked pizza, souvlaki, carbonara and jaffles on the fire and pesto pasta on small Trangia stoves.

There were a great range of temperatures during the two weeks that included negatives out bush, plus low 30's with a splash of drizzle. Students participated well with many now eager to take on Endeavour in 2023.

Many thanks to the teaching and maintenance staff who have been out there with the students or driven buses to get them there.

Year 11 Aspire students have been abseiling in the stadium this week in readiness for Week 8 and Year 7 Discovery is just around the corner starting next week.
