IDAHOBIT DAY 20TH MAY 2022

Ripponlea students celebrated International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) - Australia on the 20th of May 2022.  

The Student Wellbeing team organised a fabulous day full of colour and pride to celebrate IDAHOBIT DAY this year. 

It was fabulous to see all students wearing their most brightest and brilliant colours to celebrate. All proceeds for the day were raised for Minus 18, which is an organisation that provides support and education to young people who identify as same-sex attracted or gender- diverse.

Friday was full of fun activities including the iconic Cake Raffle which the lucky winner, Harriet Lane 12C, took home a rainbow multi-layered cake!! A huge thankyou to everyone for supporting from bringing a gold coin, to buying the amazing rainbow goodies from Snack Shack !

We are glad to announce a total of $655.75 was raised for Minus 18. What an amazing effort !!
