Parents' Association Update
With life returning to normal, SKiPPA, our parents association, are seeking some new faces to help bring our community together again and run the activities and events that make SKiPPS such a welcoming place.
Class Reps
We are looking for parents/caregivers who are interested in being a classroom representative (Class Rep) this year.
The classroom representative role is fulfilled by one or more parent/carers who organise social interaction of families within the classroom. Our aim is to build a sense of community by ensuring that our parents/carers are adequately informed about school events and how they can participate or contribute.
Class reps facilitate communication and connection amongst families and children in the same class and particularly to welcome new families into the school.
This is one of the many ways you can help our school community. It is our aim to allocate classroom representatives to all classes and notify you as soon as possible in readiness for this year’s classes.
Currently we have had class reps sign up for the below classes - as you can see we still have lots of gaps. If your child's class is without a rep, please consider whether you can help the school and our parent community in this way this year.

BBQ Co-ordinator
If you can't commit to being a class rep, another way to help out and get involed with the school is to become a BBQ co-ordinator. SKiPPA is looking for a couple of volunteer BBQ coordinators for Jazz in the Park (term 1), the footy breakfast (term 3) and Celebration of the Arts (term 4).
