Tilly Burke – Teaching and Learning

Hello, my name is Tilly and I am one of your school captains for 2022. My specific focus for this year is Teaching and Learning. I am very excited to be taking on this role as this is something I am passionate about as I have always loved school and learning. I am always looking for ideas from anyone on what we can do to continue to support the positive learning environment at Woodmans Hill Secondary College. I look forward to working with both staff and students and cannot wait for the year ahead!

Abbie Bride – Engagement

Hello, my name is Abbie Bride. Throughout my time at Woodmans Hill, I have participated in many community based activities. This is why, this year, as School Captain, my focus is on community engagement. I believe that community engagement is important for students to build relationships both within the school community and outside the school community. I believe that this can help students to begin start thinking about their career paths and make connections to help them get to where they want to be in the future. 

Nykiah Tinetti - Wellbeing

Hello, my name is Nykiah Tinetti and I am one of the 2022 School Captains. As one of the 2022 school captains my focus is wellbeing, which I see as a very important and crucial area. I have many plans for this area to make students feel more connected, including focusing on inclusivity and equality and supporting students throughout the stressful parts of the school year. I am always willing to take on new ideas so if you have any ideas please come and see me and we can work together to implement them. I’m looking forward to working with and getting to know all the staff and students and can’t wait for the great year ahead.

Charlie Farrell

My name is Charlie Farrell, I have been a student at Woodman’s Hill since Year 7. I am excited and nervous to be starting Year 12 this semester. My favorite subjects are Art and Physics. I have a variety of interests outside of school that; include aircraft, cars and Star Wars. As a Vice Captain, I hope to be able to bring interesting and fun plans and ideas to the school for my fellow students for 2022.  Already I have been in conversation with my peers concerning their interests and thoughts for activities and clubs that we could get started.  I have heard some really inspiring and clever concepts that I think would be really well received by the school community.  If you see me around please don’t hesitate to come to me with your ideas and I will try to make them a reality.

Orlando Dabner

Hi, I'm Orlando and I'm one of two Vice Captains at Woodmans Hill for 2022. I'm am incredibly excited for all the new Year 7’s and returning students this year. I am looking forward to a great year ahead, even with the challenges of Covid-19. I can't wait to help support the student cohort and the other Captains, who I'm excited to work with!
