Future Focused Learning

Students have been very busy this term as they engage in a variety of lessons that have continued to develop their skills towards learning to be "Global Citizens" and contribute to the world they live in. Student engagement is high as the students take on projects to demonstrate the learning they have achieved during inquiry sessions in term 3.

A variety of curriculum areas have been covered across the year levels including history - personal histories, science - biological, chemical, physical, Earth and space science and geography. Students have studied these different curriculum areas through the use of an Essential question such as "what impact do I have on the world that I live in?

Teachers meet last Thursday for the purpose of showcasing this outstanding work that students have been doing. A common theme across the learning that teachers observed was the rich language that was developed and used by students across learning areas. Students have had the opportunity to chose the way that they presented their work and teachers noted how confident they were when doing this. We are incredibly proud of the dedication to learning and exceptionally high standard of work students have produced.
