Grade 5 - Science  Discovery Dome Incursion 

As part of our Inquiry unit Earth and Space Science, Grade 5 students participated in an incursion called Science Discovery Dome. This offered students an educational, fun, and immersive experience which was held in a portable planetarium. The incursion was an integral part of our inquiry unit because it provided students with essential learning based on the Victorian Curriculum level 5. 

The session concluded with a tour of the night sky: stars, planets and major constellations. The night sky was displayed over the ceiling of the dome and is accurate for date, time, and location.
