School Athletics 2022

On Monday morning August 22nd, the school grounds were buzzing with excitement, as the highly-anticipated CPS House Athletics Carnival Day 2022 had arrived! All Year 3-6 students gathered together and made their way to Sandringham Athletics Club by coach, wearing their house colours loud and proud!

The Athletics Carnival was a huge success, running from 9.30am-1.30pm. The students were given the opportunity to compete in a variety of 10 different events over the course of the day, and luckily got to do so with the sun shining!! The day would not have been possible without the help of our amazing staff and wonderful parent helpers, so a huge THANK YOU to all involved.

A ribbon ceremony was held at school the following week, presented to those who placed 1st - 4th in each event.

A selection of students have been chosen to represent CPS next Wednesday, September 7th, at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park. We would like to wish our competitors the BEST OF LUCK in Albert Park, and also a huge WELL DONE to all students who took part in our CPS Athletics Carnival! An amazing day overall.

Scholastic Book Fair.....coming next week to CPS !!!

Our Book Fair will commence on Tuesday 6th September (8.30-9.00/3.30-4.15) and finish Wednesday 7th September (8.30-9.00/3.30-4.15).

This is a CASHLESS event, and to avoid any disappointment, please read below to find out how payment for books is to be made.

Your child/ren will come home with a wish list that will have the title of their book they wish to purchase and the cost of the book.

There is no obligation to purchase books. The wish list is just a wish list, however with every purchase of a book from the Book Fair, the school will receive a commission to then spend on books for our library.

When payment has been accepted, students are to remember to bring their wish list (with the receipt number documented on the wish list) back to school to collect books.

If the book your child purchases is not available, the book will be re-ordered and delivered to the school for distribution to those students.

Parents are more than welcome to visit the Book Fair with their child/ren before and after school at the above times to create a wish list and collect purchased books.

Many thanks
