Library News - Book Week Celebrations
Diana Farfalla
From a barrel of monkeys to a waddle of penguins, this laugh out loud animal rhyming story is all about collective nouns! If one goose is a goose, and two gooses are geese, then why is one moose a moose?
This is a new book in the BPS Library.

Monday 22nd - Friday 26th August.
The theme is about stepping into your own story, dreaming with eyes open!
Also, a special mention and thank you to our local author, Murray Collins.
Murray shared his time and knowledge with some BPS students during Book Week.
There was great discussion and questions. This was another great reading experience shared by many. Nothing sets kids up for success more than being a strong reader!
"Reunited" is available to borrow from our school library or to purchase from The Grounds Cafe for $20 with $5 from every sale going to the charity, Very Special Kids.
The Book Fair was a success and enjoyed by all!
Every book sold earns FREE books, learning and literacy resources to the BPS LIBRARY!
Everyone made such a great effort in celebrating BOOK WEEK!
The colour and energy on display was WONDERFUL!
We had a lot of very happy and excited students all week!
Congratulations to our Book Fair prize winners;
Mickey 1A

Grade 5C To Cruella and her Dalmations!
Thank you to all for sharing the love of READING!
Here's to dreaming with eyes open!
