Brighton Lions- Dads Footy

Congrats to our Brighton Lions Dads Footy Team!

What a fabulous day we all had at the annual Dads Footy Game!  After a two year hiatus thanks to Covid lockdowns, it was wonderful to see all the supporters cheering on our Brighton Lions.  

Apart from the on-field action, the kids enjoyed the inflatables provided by St Kilda FC and the sausage sizzle, cake stall and refreshments went down a treat too.

Not only were our dads victorious in the game, beating the Brighton Dreamers and retaining the coveted Community Cup , but they also raised over $40,000! 

A huge thanks to everyone involved, both on and off the field, and particularly the following dads:

Scott Bull, Jim Oliver, Warrick Steabben, Ben Craig, Aaron White, Campbell Armstrong, Sean Holmesby, Nick Wartman and Bruce Gilmore.

Brighton Grammar did a wonderful job of letting us use their facilities.  Special thanks too to John Phillips and Tim Marshall who did so much for us during the lead up and on the day.  Go Lions!!
