Can’t believe we are almost through term 3 already!
Its’ been an exciting year getting our four big events prepared for this term and next. Firstly, we are looking forward to our upcoming father’s day stall and the kids to spoil their dads, granddads, uncles, and other amazing fatherly figures! It was such a thrill to see all those big excited smiles after the mothers day stall and we can’t wait to see them all again!
Secondly, come for a laugh, a drink, a sausage and a raffle to celebrate the dad’s who still hold the passion to play footy! A great day out for all families held at Chisolm Reserve – kick off at 1:10pm Saturday 3rd September.
Next term we are excited to be running our first "Day" Market, Mums Netball Match against Sandy East and our main fundraising event for the year – more details to come!
As always, we value EVERYONE’S help and support; many hands make light work and we are all aiming towards the same goal of creating amazing classrooms and equipment for our kids. Go check out the new thermometer in the office and let’s get to this goal ASAP!
As such we are asking for ‘all hands on deck’ for the term 4 events; an hour assisting here and there will create such an amazing output. A sign-up sheet will be coming around soon for all to assist over the next term.

Outreach Program - Family support available
Sacred Heart offers an Outreach Program that provides support for families within our school community when in need of assistance. This might include times such as when family members are unwell, ongoing illness is experienced within the family, during times of bereavement, or when welcoming the arrival of a new baby.
Support includes provision of meals as needed, along with help with transporting children to or from school.
This group works on an anonymity policy and details of individual circumstances are not relayed to volunteer helpers. We just work off the basis that someone needs help.
Please do not hesitate to be in touch with Cathie Beven on 0416 075 046, should you wish to receive support from the outreach program, or know of a family who could use a helping hand.

- There is also a bay swimming group at Half Moon Bay (Loons That Swim) loosely Tuesday and Thursday mornings (contact Michael Schuh for admission to the Whatsapp Group) that runs throughout the year – any grade of swimmer or attire (including wetsuits) most welcome.
