Drivers reminded to keep our community safe

Parents/carers are reminded to use the college car park and entrance roundabout safely and respectfully when dropping off and picking up children at the college. Drivers are not to block the roundabout at the car park entrance as buses and nearby residents also need to be able to drive through the roundabout. Children are not to be dropped off in the roundabout or in the roadway of the college car park. Drivers must park their vehicle before allowing children to leave the car. Drivers are urged to please help us keep our children, staff and community safe.

The many ways we communicate with families

Parents/carers are reminded that the Parent Access Module (PAM) is the main platform the college uses to communicate with families. Other forms of communication include the St Anne's College Facebook page, the fortnightly college newsletter - il giornale - and email.

Families are asked to ensure that they check PAM daily for important updates and information. PAM is the portal through which parents receive activity permission forms and daily messages. The college does not use printed paper forms/notes to communicate this information. Parents/carers can also use PAM to check on their child's learning areas and to send parent-notified student absences. PAM is also the portal through which students' reports are accessed. If you have misplaced or forgotten your PAM login details please contact administration at office@sackialla.catholic.edu.au

Parents/carers can download the SIMON Everywhere app to get live notifications on everything that happens in PAM. Just search for 'SIMON Everywhere' on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, download the app and sign in with your PAM account.

We are still collecting bread bags

St Anne's College is taking part in the Wonder Recycling Rewards campaign. Please help us collect bread bags so that we can earn points to redeem RHSports equipment for our college. Bread bags can be placed in the collection boxes near college reception.

How to place a lunch order

Eastwood Orchard supplies the college's lunch orders  on Wednesdays. Lunches are ordered via the Qkr! app. Orders must be placed before 8:00am on a Wednesday, which is when the app closes for orders on that day. Orders can be made up to two weeks in advance. Please find the Qkr! instructions attached below. Here are a few tips that may help when placing a lunch order:

  • Once you download the Qkr! app you will need to search for "St Anne's" in the search bar if you can't see it on the list. If it's still not showing you will need to search "all". Then click on St Anne's College Kialla.
  • Qkr! users will be prompted to update their children's settings before being able to order.
  • Some known errors experienced by families generally include rushing the order and then ordering the wrong products and/or ordering on the wrong date.
  • Sometimes the Qkr! app gets overloaded with users (especially between 7:30am and 7:59am).
  • Ordering closes at 8:00am on Wednesday (on the day you need a school lunch). Orders and changes after this time are not accepted by the system for that day.
  • If you make a mistake or change your mind after placing an order, you can change the order (before the 8:00am cut-off time) by doing the following:
  • Log in to your Qkr! account.
  • Tap the menu (3 lines) button at the top and go to "My receipts".
  • Click on the relevant date (E.g. 13/07/2022).
  • It will then go into your orders. Click on the minus button (one at a time) next to all your orders (if more than one).
  • Your order should say cancelled and a credit will sit on your Qkr! account for the next lunch order.
