What a busy couple of weeks it has been. With the Dowerin Field Days, our School Ball and then Country Week (held back from earlier in the year), it has been fun but hectic. Thank you to those students and parents who grappled with the many different leave sets that had to be put into REACH. It assists us to ensure we have the students safely where they are meant to be, for education, ease of parent pick up and other school events.
Our “A Night at The Oscars “ College Ball was a huge success! Thank you to the students who looked fabulous and whose mature behaviour really added to the success of the evening. A big thank you to the staff who volunteered to make the night one that will be remembered for our students and to the parents who supported us. It was great to see the students and their ball partners immerse themselves in a beautiful atmosphere, hold conversations and dance the night way. It is not often we all get to attend such events these days and it is a treat, as well as an opportunity to practice our social skills. It was a beautiful venue and the food was excellent. The staff also really valued the opportunity to meet so many parents at the P and C event at the George.
The professional Ball photos have been uploaded by Bliss studios and are ready for students and their families to order.
