FOOD TECH

 

Year 7 Food Technology students were straight into cooking the first week back at school for Term four. Some classes made pineapple coconut muffins, while two classes made yo-yos as they missed making them during the last week of term due to different activities. It was wonderful to see students using their knowledge from previous FTEC classes and applying it to turning oven on safely, collecting accurate ingredients and working well in their cooking team. They still need more practise with the cleaning steps and are building skills during the practical classes.

We are now working on Healthy Eating Unit and looking into Australian Guide to Healthy Eating in more details.
