SAKG- Bunnings Planting Incursion

During Week 1, Casey from Caroline Springs Bunnings showed our Year 3 students how to plant a seedling during their designated garden session. Students loved learning steps to planting and what plants need to survive. Each student planted a petunia into a little pot to take home to nurture and observe growth. Students then completed a Seesaw task to explain what they learnt during the session.

A massive thanks to Caroline Springs Bunnings for donating the materials for the incursion. To top it off, they also gifted more fruits trees and soil to improve the new and expanding Brookside kitchen garden.
