Term 4 – Here We Come!
As we begin Term 4 and reflect on what has been achieved thus far for our students, we take much pride in seeing how much our students have grown and developed in their learning. In Term 4 we begin to prepare our students for the following year, but equally as important is celebrating the successes of our students from throughout the year. To finish off the year we have many school and year level events planned for our students, including camps, swimming program, graduations and end of year celebrations.

Story Box Library
Reading aloud to children, in particular by diverse and engaging storytellers, greatly improves language and literacy skills, especially in the early years of a child’s development. To support this, Brookside College now subscribe to Story Box Library. Story Box Library is an educational website, created for children to view stories by local authors and illustrators which are read aloud by fantastic, predominantly Australian and New Zealand, storytellers.

Brookside Community Festival – Change of Date
Due to the inclement weather last week, the Brookside Community Festival which was scheduled for Thursday 13 October had to unfortunately be cancelled. However, the festival has now been rescheduled for Tuesday 29 November from 3:30 pm – 6:00pm. We look forward to gathering as a school community to enjoy the many activities organised for the festival.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend!
