Prefect Term Three Report

We are excited to share with you what the prefect team has achieved and been involved with this term as we near the holidays.

We were given the opportunity to run the Discovery Day that hosted 40 Year 5-6 students from rural schools around the district. We were able to work together with fellow students and staff members to create a fun filled day for of activities such as science, maths, music and robotics. A big thanks to Ethan Gregory who hosted the Robotics of the day, VCAL for a delicious BBQ and our student leaders and helpers who helped throughout the day.

We attended our school's Corporate Sponsor morning tea, mingling with sponsors and enjoying the delicious catering from fellow Year 10 students and barista coffees from the talented Abbey, Jack and Meg.

Our Middle Years Disco was this week, what a blast that was. We were able to enjoy the night with dancing and games with fellow Year 7-9 students!

Gracie, Fiona and Grace attended our Transition night, welcoming the new students for the 2023 year.  We were able to see some familiar faces from our Discovery Day and meet new students.

In this term our Year 12 prefects will be stepping down for the next year 12 prefects to work alongside the new year 11 prefects for next year. We thank and say good luck to Year 12 prefects Alannah Baguley, Stephanie Grant, Fiona Schilling, Ella Stephens, Finn Howe, Hayley Murphy-Graham, Jarrod Bell and Thomas Solimo as they now prepare for their final term of High School. We are also excited to have Year 10 students join as prefects over the coming weeks as well.

We hope everyone has a lovely two week off school and see students back at school on the 3rd of October!
