Middle Years Term Three Review

Another term has come to an end. Again, many of our students have taken up the opportunity to represent Wangaratta High School in sport. Students recently went to Wodonga for Athletics, a large majority of students qualified for the next level.

We hosted a Discovery Day where grade 6 students from surrounding towns undertook a round robin of activities. These included throwing paint balls, scavenger hunt, science experiments and much more. Our prefect team ran the activities with the support from student level leaders. Many staff were on hand to navigate students around the grounds.

This week we hosted our first Middle Years Disco. This was a roaring success with over 80 students in attendance. We sold out of food and drinks with all proceeds going towards the Malaysia trip. The most attended dances on the night were of course the Nutbush and the Macarena. Many staff joined in and guided the students through these classic dances. A big thank you goes out to staff who came to assist with the running of the night.

Now that the cold weather is behind us, we look forward to a sunny Term 4. I hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable break.
