To Italy and back

Saluto!

Wow we have had an action-packed term 3 and looking forward to much more fun in Term 4.

In Year 7 we have been working on hair/eye colour and style, and adjectives to describe ourselves and others. Whilst artistically we have been creating Amedeo Modigliani artworks. Amedeo uses a different style of painting with his subjects having long necks and almond eyes with lots of colours.

In Year 8 we have been investigating 'la cucina' - the kitchen. Students have been researching their own masterclass recipe whilst also making my Pasta Carbonara and Tira misu (pick me up). 

We were also fortunate to have Make a Scene, attend and perform Pinocchio to our Year 7 and 8 students as part of the Italian curriculum last week. Students enjoyed the interaction with the Actor and grisly story line. A special thank you to Miss Nott for stepping up in being the Blue Fairy.
