International Students Program

International Student Program - Support Sessions

Our ISP runs Tuesday after school support sessions for our International students and local students who speak English as a second language.

The purpose of these sessions is to provide students with additional support to improve their English proficiency. It has been wonderful to see so many students taking up this opportunity to further develop their skills. We thank Mrs Griss and Mr Yin for overseeing the program every Tuesday after school from 3.15 pm to 4.15 pm. We also would like to take this chance to wish our students good luck for their 2022 exams.

New Arrivals for 2023

In Term 1 2023, we are expecting 15 new students from China to begin at our ILC (Intensive English Language Course) and 4 new students - Gechy, Chand, Chris and Kumi - to move into the mainstream classes.

  • Gechy, from Cambodia, will join our Y9 mainstream. She speaks very fluent English as she attended an International school in her own country.
  • Chand, from Fiji, will attend our Y7 mainstream after graduating from Aspendale Gardens Primary school.
  • Chris, from China, who is currently studying in a private English Language provider in Melbourne, will join our Y10 mainstream. Chris has visited our school recently and she was very impressed by the friendly atmosphere. With the help of Mrs White, our Careers adviser, Chris has selected her Y10/2023 courses.
  • Kumi, from Japan, will join our Y7 mainstream in Term 2 after she graduates from her current private language school in the city. We are so pleased  that she can finally reunite with her siblings after more than 5 years' apart.  Her sister Keika and brother Naoto are both studying at our College.

We look forward to welcoming and meeting our new students from overseas in 2023.
