Chess Update

Maria Magdau and Klara Vujic competed in the girl’s state chess finals earlier this term. Both girls had some excellent games finishing in the top 30 female platers in Victoria!

On the 20th of October 12 members of the KDC chess team competed in the state finals for 2022. 32 schools completed from across the state with a total of 162 students. The standard of play was extremely high, making for a very tense and competitive day.

KDC finished 9th overall with our top player Vincent Le making it into the top 10. 

All students should be extremely proud of reaching states and playing some fantastic chess!
