STATEMENTS

Statements were sent home in the last two weeks.  There has been a bit of confusion around them with credits showing as a negative figure ( - ).  If your statement has a minus next to the totals at the bottom of the statement (see below) it means you have credit that can be spent on future invoices.  This can be kept on your account for the following year or refunded if needed.  If you’re unsure, make contact with the office on 5255 1340 as we’ll be happy to explain.

PE News

Prep-2 Junior Sports Day.

The Prep-2 students will have their Junior School Sports Day on Monday 28th November.  This will be held on the oval, beginning at 9am and finishing at 12pm.  Parents, this should be a cracker, so please feel free to pop along and support our smallest athletes in what should be a terrific spectacle.  They will be utilising their PE lessons in the coming weeks to ensure they are all adequately prepared for the day, competing in the Sprint, Hurdles, Vortex and Tennis-Ball Throw, the Sack Race and the Egg and Spoon Race.

Year 3 -6 Swimming Sports.

Another date for the diary is the Year 3-6 Swimming Sports that will be taking place the following Monday 5th December.  This will take place at the Kardinia Aquatic Centre, with students traveling to and from by bus.  All students in 3-6 are expected to attend, they will be selecting their chosen events this week for day later this week with all the traditional races; Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly happening, along with some less well-known events that will provide a fair bit of entertainment for all those competing/spectating!

This is not a professional competition by any means, it's about getting together as a community, having some fun and seeing if you can craft an image in the sand that talks about something you love and want to protect on this 'One Planet'. There will be speeches, music, and prizes from our amazing local businesses. Plus Southern Ocean Environmental Link (SOEL) will be there with their plastic recycling machine
