3/4G

Last Friday, 3/4G had their cooking session. 

Everyone was very excited to prepare and share a meal. 

Cauliflower and Potato soup as an entree, Sautéed Herby Potatoes and Salad of the Imagination as the main and Scones with homemade Rhubarb and Raspberry Jam and Cream and Rhubarb and Raspberry Muffins as a dessert. 

To begin with, the groups worked together reading the recipe and following the steps with lots of slicing, cutting, grating, measuring, mixing and stirring along the way. 

They set a long table with vases of flowers and a setting for everyone in their class, just like you would find at a restaurant. 

Everyone enjoyed eating all the meals with some students enjoying seconds. 

3/4G get the award for ‘best at cleaning up’. It was wonderful to watch all the groups clean up their stations and wash their own dishes so well.
