Under The Oak Tree Celebration

On Friday the 16th of December we will be celebrating the end of the year by participating in some fun activities!

What is the Under the Oak Tree celebration?

Under the Oak Tree Celebration is an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the successful year of learning the children have completed. It is an afternoon tea that involves all the junior school students (F-2), teachers and parents (siblings welcome).

When and where will it be held?

It will be held on Friday 16th December and will commence at 2:30pm under the oak tree in the junior play area. If the weather is inclement, we will hold the party in the gallery of Forest Oak. The celebration will conclude at 3:20pm.

What is my child required to bring?

Could all children please bring along a plate of food to share. As the party will be afternoon tea for the children, we would like to have a selection of healthy and sometimes foods.

We are asking that:

FA, 1A and 2A bring a plate of sweet food to share

FB, 1B and 2B bring a plate of savoury food to share.

Please do not send any soft drinks - the children can drink water from their water bottles or from the bubblers. If your child has any allergies, please notify their classroom teacher. Please label all plates and containers so they can be returned.

Please note: No nuts or nut products please. All food to be delivered to the Foundation area in the morning. Any homemade items should contain an ingredients list. Parents are more than welcome to bring the food along with them at 2:30 when they arrive at the celebration.
