End of Year Celebration.

THANK YOU

To all our parents and carers of our senior students, thank you for all the support you have showed our school community over the past year. We have been rewarded with many opportunities to learn and grow through 2022, and we are so very proud of the way in which our students have conducted themselves.

We have responsible learners, taking every opportunities to grow and learn as much as possible. We have witnessed students show resilience when faced with challenges and have made positive choices for their learning. Finally we have worked with respectful students who treat others the way they want to be treated.

Overall we have worked with your child and we are better people for it.

We hope you all have an amazing Summer holiday and get to relax and celebrate with your families.

From the Year Five and Six teachers: Llew, Melissa and Zoe, we stay a huge THANK YOU!

Diversity Dash

How much fun did we all have during the Diversity Dash celebration. What an amazing activity to celebrate all our students and all the choices we have in life. Have a look through the photos below and see if you can make out your child amid the colours and smiles:

Japanese Day

Our Year Five and Six students enjoyed all the activities experienced on Japanese day. What fun we had dressing up and sharing our excitement. Thank you Masae -Sensei for all the hard work you put in to this day, the kids loved all the planned activities.

Inflatable Day

'And let there be light', Mr Scicluna was heard whispering as the Inflatable challenges were being set up.

Between the rain and stormy looking clouds, the sun shone down on Upwey South Primary School to allow our students to have some fun jumping around on the Sports Inflatables. Shooting hoops, catching cricket balls, kicking footies and simply laughing and developing a sweat, the kids had a ball.

Year Five / Six Celebration Day

On Friday the 16th of December, our Year 5/6 cohort traveled down to Boronia Metro to watch Puss in Boots 2. What a fun movie that was. Following on we had a tasty sausage sizzle under the Oak Tree. A great day full of fun, laughter, good food and GREAT company.

Thank you to the Upwey Bakery and The Butchers Club (UFTG) for donating all the delicious goods. Thanks to the parents who donated their time to cook up our 'snags', your help is greatly appreciated.

We would like to wish our Year Five students the best of luck with the delivery of their 2023 School Leadership (captain) speeches.
