House Music

We are very excited that rehearsals have started for House Music 2021. With only 5 weeks of rehearsal time, the pressure is on to see which house will win this year's trophy. 

Please note that it is compulsory for ALL Year 7-12 students to attend all Tuesday and Thursday rehearsals (3.15 pm to 4 pm) in their house. 

I wish each house and their respective Music Captains all the very best for the preparations, rehearsals and performances of this exciting event.

Instrumental Music Lessons

It has been lovely to see and hear our music students play their instruments in the Music Centre. We would like to warmly welcome all our new students and hope that they will enjoy their musical journey with us. 

If you would like to learn an instrument at Huntingtower, you can still enrol for lessons. Enrolment forms and relevant information are available on the Huntingtower website (Teaching & Learning  –  Music Program).

Learning an instrument is extremely important for the development of young students and has proved to be very beneficial in the areas of mathematics, languages and cognitive skills.

Online instrumental lessons

We have moved to an online system which allows students and parents to check the dates and times of their lessons. 

Please be advised that you need to access the Firefly portal of your child (NOT the parent portal). The Music Lesson tab is on the right hand side when you scroll down. Our apologies for any issues that may have arisen over the past week. Please contact us if you have issues accessing this information.
