Farewell to Year 6

Primary school has been a roller coaster of emotions. From losing your hat to winning fruit salad. In prep, the only thing on our minds was frolicking in the fairy forest, whereas now it’s crazy to think that we’re about to graduate. If we had to summarise our seven years at primary school in one word each, we would say amazing, wonderful, safe, educational, exciting, intriguing and strange. This year has been particularly interesting to say the least. COVID has impacted us a lot, we literally haven’t had a full term at school, but that didn’t stop us making connections, growing stronger and we can’t wait to move on to our next set of challenges.

School has been very fun this last 7 years, I am very grateful for the experiences and memories I have with Fairfield. ~ Lauren B, 6A

This year can be phrased in different ways, but I like to say memorable (sometimes) so thanks for the most memorable year of my life.

 When I reflect on my time at Fairfield Primary, one word comes into my head. Community. This school has such a fantastic community, one to be proud of. So, thank you to all the parents, teachers and friends that have guided me through primary school. ~ Eve WO, 6A

School was always a little bit challenging, but a new experience. I think we can all say that we enjoyed some part of school. ~Levi W, 6A

I have only been here for a short while but I have already made some new friends. Thank you FPS for making my year. ~ Ivy W, 6B

Year 6 has been filled with a lot of unexpected twists and turns but now that the years are over I realise that I had a very good time here. ~ Melina K, 6B

FPS has been an awesome school and I have thoroughly enjoyed this year despite the difficulties of online learning. School has been a fun and fantastic experience. ~ Anika M, 6B
