P&C News
On behalf of the P&C, I would like welcome all new and returning families to the community of Tallebudgera State School for 2021. We hope everyone had a fantastic school holidays and that the beginning of school along with the rest of the year is enjoyable, rewarding, and memorable.
Every year the P&C plan community events and fundraising events to support the school in one-off and ongoing projects but most importantly to connect our community together and have some fun.
This year, the P&C’s aim is to support the school with building a bush tucker garden in the school grounds for students, teachers, and our community to enjoy.
We encourage all parents to become members of the P&C as meetings are a great way to find out what is happening at the school and our planned activities. Meetings also provide you with an opportunity to meet and get to know other parents at the school. Please do not feel you have to contribute or volunteer your time- you are welcome to come along and listen to what we are planning.
We look forward to a fun and rewarding year together!
Upcoming Events
In term 1, the P&C will be involved in arranging Book club orders and deliveries, a school disco and the hugely popular Colour Explosion Fun Run!
We also want to hold an event for our Tally Dads such as a golf day etc. If you are interested in organising an event like this with the support of our P&C, please email us at tallebudgerapandc@gmail.com
Prep Parents Catch Up
We would like to invite all prep parents to a catch up after school drop off to help connect you with other parents and support you through your first year of school. We will be holding these catch ups each term so please keep an eye out on our Facebook page and newsletter for details.

Container Refund Scheme
The container refund scheme is a great way to keep our beautiful part of the world clean and tidy but also offers an opportunity to raise funds for our school. In 2020, the scheme had to be put on hold due to Covid restrictions, but we are now able to offer our school as a collection point for your containers if a volunteer is able to run the scheme with the support of the P&C team.

Meetings
The first P&C meeting is on Monday 22 February 2021 at 4.00pm. You do not need to be a member to attend, please feel free to come along and find out what we are planning.
