The School Office is staffed between the hours of 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.

Late Arrivals

We would like parents to not process 'late arrivals' on compass, only full day absences. The student's  unexplained absence will be amended once you have signed your child in late at the office via the compass kiosk.

If your child arrives after 10.00 am, you will still receive a text message which can be ignored. This 'unexplained' absence will also be amended once you have arrived to school and signed your child in. 

Miss Peppercorn Lunch Orders

Our lunch order service will recommence on Friday 12th February 2021.  Please be advised that we are only operating our service on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday’s at this stage.

Family Details

Have you moved house or changed email address or phone numbers?

If so, please email the school office with the changes as soon as possible.   blackburn.ps@education.vic.gov.au

It is important that we have your most current details for general purposes and in case of an emergency. It is also important that you keep your mobile phone and email address details up to date on Compass. This is to ensure you do not miss out on vital information.

In the next couple of weeks, your child will bring home a 'Student Enrolment Information Form' which has all of the details we have on our system. Please read through this form carefully and make any changes in pen, sign and return the form to the office. If all of the information is correct and no changes are required, please sign the form and return it to the office still.

Please carefully check all of the information on the forms your child brought home on Friday last week. If there are any changes required, please mark them clearly in pen on the form, sign and return the form to the office ASAP. 

If there are no changes, please sign and return the form to the office still so we know everything is correct. 

CSEF - Camps, Sports & Excursion Fund

CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of excursions and camps. If you hold a valid concession card, you may be eligible to apply.

Please see attachment for more information and  completed application forms can be left at the school office with a copy of your signed healthcare card.
