Welcome Back!

We are so excited to be back for another year in 2021! We hope that all families had a safe and restful summer break and we can’t wait for an even better year! 

What’s coming up this term at OSHC?

We have lots of exciting things planned this year at OSHC including our new clubs:

• Sports Club
• Science Club
• Gardening Club
• Construction Club
• Cooking Club

Watch this space to see some of the exciting things we get up to in our clubs! 

Our theme this term is all about building relationships with children, families and our local community. We will be using our clubs to explore this theme from different viewpoints in order to build a more holistic understanding of what it means to be community minded.

Program Coordinator: Laura Palmer 

Laura is a passionate and hardworking pre-service teacher with a love for primary education! Laura manages and oversees the St James OSHClub program and is currently completing her Bachelor of Education (Primary) at Curtin University. She will finish her course in early 2022. As an educator, she is passionate about providing a nurturing and supportive environment that serves to stimulate the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of all children. She can’t wait to meet you and your families soon! 

Program Educator: Lachlan Doquile

Lachlan is a dedicated and confident pre-service teacher who is currently completing his Bachelor of Education (Primary) at Australian Catholic University. Lachlan is an essential part of the St James OSHClub program and an integral part of the wider community. As an educator, is passionate about providing an inclusive environment for all children through a love of sport! He can’t wait to meet you and your families soon!

Homework Club: 

Tuesday Afternoon: 4.30pm-5.30pm

If your children need any help with their homework, please feel free to speak to Lachie or Laura about how we can help them! We are always willing to give your child some extra support with projects or readers if they need!
