Year 7 Boys Soccer (Term 4 EISM Premiers)

Our Year 7 Boys Soccer Team had a very successful Term 4 season. The Boys were undefeated after their six Home and Away matches, with an average weekly winning margin of six goals. The stand-out performer was team Captain, Steven Sakellarios. Steven displayed excellent leadership qualities by imparting his soccer knowledge and skills on to his teammates each week. He led by example to score over 20 goals for the season, and set up many more for his team mates. Well done to all the Boys on a great season.

A Winning Year for Our Year 7s

Our Year 7 cohort created their own history this year by winning an EISM Premiership in all three sport terms (Term 2 - Girls Soccer, Term 3 - Boys Volleyball & Term 4 - Boys Soccer) for the first time.

Our Year 7 Boys (with the help of Jovan Milenkovic of Year 6, and bottom age Year 8 Michael Kaniadakis) also won the Under 13 Boys Age Group Premiership at each of the EISM Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country Carnivals for the first time in the School’s history.

Year 8/9 Summer Season Runners-Up - Girls Soccer

A great Home and Away season from our Year 8/9 Girls Soccer Team, saw the Girls undefeated going into the Grand Final. With the Grand Final being played at Alphington Grammar, the home team had the home ground and crowd advantage. Despite being up against it, our girls fought hard to narrowly lose a thrilling Grand Final 3-4.

Congratulations to Victoria Turewicz of Year 9 who was awarded Most Valuable Player in the Girls Soccer Grand Final.

Year 8/9 Summer Season Runners-Up - Boys Volleyball A

Our Year 8/9 Boys Volleyball A Team battled hard however were defeated by a strong Alphington Grammar team. Our team was undefeated going into the Grand Final, having had a narrow win over the Alphington Volleyball A Team two weeks earlier in the Home and Away season.

Patrick Kyritsis of Year 9 continued his dominance on the court by switching his talents from Basketball to Volleyball this term. His efforts were rewarded as he was judged MVP for the Boys Volleyball A Grand Final.
