Year 8J Tech Taster

FEES

Many Technology elective subjects and all Food Studies classes, carry a fee to help cover the increasing cost of materials.

Notices will be issued to students via Compass and I ask that parents/guardians please assist the school by paying the contribution as soon as practicably possible.

Year 7 Tech Tasters

Year 7 students studying the Tech Taster: Sustainability course (Ms Coyler's class), have been using Technology, to explore how to design a room, using an online floor planning tool.

Students worked in teams, designing one room each to add to their 'Sustainable House' they will be building.

These houses will have to adhere to specific criteria - such as; having passive shade; solar heating and use, recyclable materials throughout their designs. I cannot wait to see their final design.
