St Georges Road PS

Beacon Ambassadors Baden Sloan, Tyler Bell, Viv McPherson, Zahra al Moosawi, Xhovanna Mulla and Ella Bollard have been attending St Georges Rd Primary School to inspire Grade 6 students to become leaders in their school and the wider community.

Ambassadors have completed fun activities which included communication, teamwork and leadership.

In the last session the Grade 6 students were asked to form teams and construct a tower using only paper, tape and icy pole sticks. Each item had a monitory value. The students had to assign jobs such as Project Manager, Accountant, Labourers, Designers and Encouragers.

The tallest tower built at the cheapest cost, which would hold a coffee cup, won.
