Principal's Report

I welcome all families back to our final term for 2016.  We have had a wonderful start to the term and a special Assembly today to mark the end of the winter sports season and honor the staff and students involved.

I wish all the Year 9 students and accompanying staff every success on the Otways adventure over the next 8 days.

Last Thursday 29 September, I was pleased to attend the National Police Remembrance Day Service at the Uniting Church in Lonsdale Street.  At the service, we recalled with deep gratitude those police officers throughout Australia who have given their lives in the line of duty.  We remembered especially the 159 men and women who over the last 162 years have paid the supreme sacrifice.   The Victorian Police protect and serve our community and work with us to maintain law and order and create safe and secure neighborhoods.  On behalf of the entire College community, we say a heartfelt thank you: to Victorian Police and the other emergency services, both full time and volunteer, who share the same risks and stresses.
