Last Friday was a successful day at the GD Tennis for many of our students. Despite not winning the overall school shield we managed to have many winners on the day including:
Ellie Jeal – Intermediate A Girls’ Champion
Chloe Anderson/Tayla Kennedy – Intermediate Doubles Champions
Reagan Simons/Nick Vallance – Intermediate Doubles Champions
Harrison Hocking/Max Green - Junior Doubles Champions
Well done to all that competed and a special thanks to Mrs Murphy and Beth White for taking and assisting the students on the day.
It was pleasing to see some of our students and parents doing the Hamilton Fun Run at the lake last Sunday. Special congratulations to Charlie Beggs who came 3rd in the Under 14 section for the 4.2kn run.

On Tuesday 14th November, the College Division 4 Women’s Sooty Owls basketball team played Minders Gold in the Grand Final. The Sooty Owls, who remained undefeated throughout the regular season, lost their first semi-final and had to take the slightly longer road to the finals. In a very close, neck and neck, Grand Final, the Sooty Owls were able to take the win with only 30 seconds on the clock when Mitzi Adamson shot a vital 3 point shot. The Sooty Owls defeated Minders Gold 31 – 28. Well done to the team of Annabel Hetherington, Chloe Russell, Chantal Butcher, Grace Austin, Lucy Roberts, Mitzi Adamson and Nina Pern. A big thank-you to Chantal who coached the girls this season and to everyone who helped with scoring throughout the season.
