Invitation to Early Learning Centre Piccino Parents
In line with our open door policy at Myrniong, all Early Learning Centre Piccino families are invited to observe our Music and Art sessions at 10.00am each Monday and Tuesday. This is a valuable opportunity for parents to view the wonderful transition programs we run at the Junior School. Appointments can be made with Mrs Povey on 0355711066. Parents are most welcome to stay after the sessions for coffee/tea and chat as well as a tour of the Junior School.
Winter Uniform
In the first week of term, a note was sent home outlining the winter uniform requirements for the Junior School. I must say the transition of the majority of the student body from summer to winter uniform has been very smooth and impressive. We would like parent support in checking all Junior School students are wearing their blazers as they leave for school in the mornings.
Junior School Hockey
The four Division 4 teams have started Season 2018 in great style. College Dropbears, Bandicoots and Tassie Devils have all recorded strong wins. It has been wonderful to see 50 + Division 4 players turn out for College on a Saturday afternoon. The Neil MacLean Hockey Field has been abuzz with energy and endeavour in the opening weekends of the season. Thanks to coaches David Merrin, Heath Templeton and Ben Hawthorne as well as managers Marnie White, Penny Adamson, Mark and Fiona Hermon and Chantal Butcher for their contributions to a smooth start to the competition.
Junior Netball
Hamilton Netball Association are proud to run the Net-Set-Go program for 2018, commencing Saturday 21 July 2018 between 9.00am and 10.00a at Pedrina Park. The program, which will run for nine weeks, concludes on 15th September. Registration is $70.00 per child and includes a participant pack. Please register online via https://netsetgo.asn.au/.
