Generations in Jazz 2018

On Friday the Jazz Combo and Generations Festival Voices travel to Mt Gambier for Generations in Jazz.  Both ensembles will perform on Saturday afternoon and look forward, along with over 5000 other students from all around Australia, to the Saturday night concert featuring The Cat Empire.

25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

All our performers onstage and in the pit deserve great credit and recognition for presenting such a highly engaging, musically demanding and dramatically funny season of the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.  Ably supported by a dedicated and enthusiastic backstage and technical crew, the orchestra of Mr Joseph Beckitt, Mr Singh, Ms Parry, Alec Jagger and Leyland Jones realised the score with great skill from the pit, providing the foundation and colour for the characters on the stage.  It must always be remembered that we read the same notes from the score that the professionals read in Melbourne, London or New York and it reinforces the strength of our music and dramatic programs that we can produce students that have the skill to do so.
