A Warm Welcome Back
A very warm welcome back to all of the Lighthouse families. We would really like to say a HUGE thank you to all the Lighthouse parents for all of your patience, support and dedication in helping us to establish the distance learning program. We appreciate this is a very challenging time for parents with many of you working full time as well as now taking on the role as primary school teacher.
Please remember we don’t expect you to cover all of the work that is sent home. There will be days that are hugely successful in terms of learning and other days not so much (just like at school!)
We have been really enjoying our zoom catch ups this term! This is a new and somewhat intimidating piece of technology for all of us. If your child isn’t feeling overly confident to engage with this technology, that is okay. Be patient and with time and familiarity hopefully they will be more willing to engage. It has been great to see all of you regularly logging in which is hopefully helping us all to feel more connected and also help to give some structure to our days.
We have loved following your individual learning journeys at home and please do keep sharing what you have been up to on either Seesaw or your child’s google drive folder.
