A Strange Term 2

Dear Families,

Welcome to perhaps the strangest Term Two we’ve had in about 100 years!

If one thing is for certain, we are all learning, every single day! This really is challenging for everyone and, as the adults in our children’s lives, one of the greatest potentials in this is to model to our children the behaviours and actions of resilience.

Your children have been such wonderfully creative and critical thinkers already; lots of reading and processing of information and instructions, learning how to navigate technology in ways they never have before, making decisions, having a go at organising their time, possibly helping siblings with their learning…...as have you!

So enjoy perusing the snapshots of things we’ve done so far on this journey together.

Learning to read by ‘reading to learn’ about puppets and some spelling activities.

Some of us shared our ‘Lockdown Exercise’ routines.

A drain in the bush makes a great step up object   and Toby’s staircase was perfect for raising the heart rate.

Emily, our Librarian and secret Yoga Guru ran a wonderfully wholesome session last Friday.

Some household maths measurement investigations.
