Hey there parents and guardians and anyone who has a relationship with a teen,
Next week we have an amazing course 'Tuning Into Teens' being run by Phyllis Traficante, a mentor and supervisor of mine whomIi can highly recommend. The program was to take place at Arlington, however given current circumstances it has been moved online. More details are below:
My name is Phyllis Traficante, I am a Gestalt psychotherapist and Somatic Experience practitioner. My work encompasses counselling, education/ training and counselling supervisor, specialising in working with teens.
The Tuning into Teens program provides psychoeducation regarding age and stage appropriate teen behaviours, it identifies 4 differing parenting styles and the impact of those on teens.
It is a group process that provides parents with support, validation of their experience and information that participants have attested as invaluable.
Tuning Into Teens is a 6 week, 2 hour a week parenting program that was developed by Melbourne University . This next program will be conducted online at minimal cost.
Please find attached a flyer for the ‘Tuning Into Teens’ parenting course that I will be conducting commencing 28th of April 2020.
